The Ministry of Health, the Kyabazinga of Busoga and JOSU Links have partnered to launch a campaign against malaria that focuses on testing and prevention of the disease. The health ministry hinted on the need for joint efforts to increase prevention to avoid spending the over 160 million dollars that government uses on malaria medication every year. Busoga and Karamoja top the list of regions with the highest malaria prevalence.
